This song is a companion piece to "Until I Sleep" off "This Lousy T-Shirt" and was written prior to "Traction Control". Like the previous track on "Dropouts" it wasn't extreme enough to warrant addition to the latter album and so it's had to wait to have its day.

I swear I've struggled for years to find a guitar tone in the intro that doesn't make me want to hang myself - at the end of the day I had to admit defeat and face the fact that some goals were never meant to be reached.

Anyway it has a laid-back feel that I think gives it that special something, and sprinkled with the magic that is the rhythm section on this project I think it can stand on its own two feet.
