A candidate for the weirdest tune on this album, I recall being in a strange place mentally while writing it - I’d been reminiscing about life and how every day is another opportunity. I felt that I’d let myself down by not promoting my debut record, and wondered how life would have looked like if I’d pursued music more aggressively. As such, Now or Never is a statement - that I’d better double down on my efforts, because time is limited and nobody lives forever. From a musical standpoint it’s a veritable potpourri of styles and genres, but somehow it all fits together.
