A companion piece to the previous track, this is another practical example of music as a coping mechanism. It’s also a composition I’m quite proud of. Its wild tonal and thematic shifts throughout are quite telling of my mindset during the month or so it took to write. It wasn’t all miserable though. I once again forced myself to exercise the opposite of restraint during the solo sections, and managed to squeeze in a hat-tip to Vangelis too. Fun fact: I wrecked the tremolo posts on my guitar recording the solo.
